KAWATERRACE

“Kawaterasu®” is the Tokyo version of “Kawadoko”, which is seen in Kyoto in the summer. This is a system in which private businesses, etc. receive special permission to occupy riverbeds and operate restaurants based on the requirements set by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Utilizing this system, LYURO has created the largest Kawadoko in Tokyo and Japan. In addition to opening this place to the city as a public space, we will also hold various events such as yoga and markets with the aim of improving the appeal of Tokyo's waterside spaces, creating a lively atmosphere in the area.
